Thanks Grandma and Grandpa in Ecosse

Thanks for our trip to the Polar Express and for the gifts that we got to pick out after the trip. We LOVE them.

The pony that makes noises, wags it's tail and moves it's nose.

I love my barbie cash register. Has a blackberry and credit cards. I am practicing being a teenager.

Snow Days

Yum! I love to eat the snow

Our first snow man. We have never had enough snow in the past and the snow earlier this week, when we were here was too dry. The kids loved it.

This was from earlier in the morning when Daddy was at work and he took my winter jacket with him. I wanted to wear my halloween jacket. At least it was fleece lined and warm!

Momma just cleared the driveway so we could ride our bikes. Who wants to play in their sleds in the snow when mom is busy working.

POLAR EXPRESS on the 16th

We made it to the polar express on the 16th. It was so iffy with the weather, so it was a last minute decision to go. We decided that morning and off we went. We were nervous about the storm coming in the next day, but figured as long as we got there, it wouldn't be so bad being snowed in, in Hood River.

Santa takes the time to sit with all the kids on the train. Bless him......

The girls chilling after all the excitement back at the hotel, eating leftovers from their early dinner. (Yes, I am still challenged with the photo part. It never uploads them to the page the way I selected them)

Briah enjoying her hot chocolate on the train

The North Pole. We picked up Santa and the Elves here.

Reading along with the book on the train. Yip, the wee one is asleep in my lap. She didn't have her afternoon nap and just crashed with the motion of the train.

First Snow of the Season

When the girls got up this morning the first thing they wanted to do was go out and play in the snow. No time to do hair and makeup...lol. Snowsuits on and out they went.

Ready, Set, Fire

This is our family picture that didn't make it onto our Christmas card. Our friend took it for us and she is really busy moving house, so I didn't want to put the pressure on her to send it to us. So anyway I ordered our Christmas cards and then next day this photo arrives in my inbox. She is a very efficient friend. Anywhoo, just wanted to share it with y'all.

Cutting the twine off the tree.

It is that time of year again. I can't believe how quickly the time is passing. I just sent off my parcels to Scotland and that put a $130.00 dent in my pocket, just for postage. Next week we are doing the polar express in Hood River. More photos to follow! Still need to get that perfect holiday photo for our Xmas card. Better get moving on that! or maybe I will use an oldie?

The girls decorated the tree this year. Daddy helped them with the lights and such. Oh the joy of Christmas.

Family photo at the tree farm. We go to the same farm every year and have fun riding on the trailer.
