Busy Weekend

Just wanted to share some of our photos from the weekend. Saturday we hiked to the summit of Mary's Peak. We have lived in "P" town for a year and a half and finally made it. Maybe this winter we will make to the snow there too. Then on Sunday we carved our pumpkins. I am still learning how to organize photos on the blog. So it will be a while before I make it perfect!

Pumpkin carving..................

I do have to admit that I will be glad when election day is over. I just want the next few days to pass by as quickly as possible. Except tomorrow, of course. I just dropped off Dave's ballot at the ballot box. As most of you know that I can't vote personally. You all know that my hubby can be a bit of a scatter brain, so I exercise my vote by making sure that he does....lol.

Spectacular Girl

Just wanted to add some photos of Briah and her new glasses. As most of you know when we were at the pediatrician, they noticed that her left eye was not seeing well. So, we took her to our eye doctor and it turns out that her left eye is lazy and has a lot of astigmatism. After the exam her eye was prescribed as 20/50. So here she is with her Liz Claibornes (quite stylish for a 4 year old..lol). Luckily she only has to wear them part time. She is very responsible at putting them back in the drawer where they need to be kept. Thankfully she is not trying to stash them with all her other stuff.

The Pumpkin Patch we go....

We decided to go a little early, cause Dave is not fond of joining the crowds. We went to a new one this year which is pretty close to the house. The girls had a blast.

Our final camping trip of the summer

We went to Devils lake mid september with a group of friends and stayed in a Yurt. We don't do tent camping for now. Figured in a few years, when Riven is older we can start that up again. We took Briah when she was a year old for our one and only camping in a tent with kids. We had a great time. Here are a few photos to share from both trips.

I guess I am joining the club. We have another website.. I figured it was time to set a blog up, where I could just maybe explain our photos better. I am not very good at writing blurbs, or opening up about my thoughts and feelings on different things. A photo blog is probably as good as I am going to give for now.
